TWAM structures its work around 8 complementary pillars, each with its own dedicated site. The Twaming Platform is Travel With A Mission's original and most cherished activity. It enables free, direct connections between people who want to share knowledge, skills, or experience (Twamers) and those who want to receive them (Twamhosts). One of its main goals is to develop Twaming, an emerging form of engaged travel in which Twamers can share while traveling. The Volunteering Platform is a newer innovation in the travel world. It is a mission catalogue designed to meet the growing demand for international volunteering. Through the platform, visitors can book volunteering missions in areas such as the environment, education, health, development, and more. It also helps host organizations welcome international volunteers and develop income-generating activities by doing so. Local structures may choose whether or not to offer a package, which can include accommodation, food, transport, activities, and training. A major TWAM goal is to grow international volunteering in order to support those most in need around the world. Supervised volunteering (TWAM Volunteering) serves a different need: a turnkey service where TWAM handles the mission from start to finish, including vetting, support before, during and after, lodging, meals, and training. TWAM acts as a guarantor of mission success by ensuring that skills, intentions, and local needs align. Solidarity team-building for companies is also included in supervised volunteering missions. TWAM Trips offer stays designed to deepen understanding and inspire action through off-the-beaten-path experiences, including meetings with social entrepreneurs worldwide. TWAM Events highlight best practices in Twaming and help Twamers and Twamhosts meet. TWAM Tours provide awareness workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions on different themes, for example in French schools around the 15 global challenges. TWAM Projects support a wide variety of social objectives, such as social cohesion or access to education. TWAM Support helps Twamers and Twamhosts with grants, training, checks, discounts, advice, and other practical tools. TWAM also maintains a blog that showcases its work and the best practices of Twaming.
